  • Dr. Craig Little

    As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Little manages a wide variety of problems related to the jaw, mouth, teeth, and facial regions. He is a South Carolina native, grew up in Spartanburg and went to The Citadel, where he obtained his BS in in Biology. Dr. Little then obtained his general dentistry degree at MUSC College of Dental Medicine and finished his general practice residency at Richland Memorial in Columbia. He then spent an additional 4 years in Detroit, MI for his surgical residency. In 1991, after residency, he returned to the Charleston area to practice, and resides with his wife and a very sweet golden doodle. Dr. Little also has 3 sons, the youngest continues the legacy at The Citadel.

    Matthew Nimmich

    Dr. Matthew Nimmich was born and raised in Summerville, South Carolina and has been interested in dentistry from an early age. His father was a general dentist who later specialized in Endodontics and relocated their family to Sumter, South Carolina on completion of his residency.

    Matthew attended Wofford College and was a member of the Pre-Dental Society and took part in the Pre-Dental Interim program at MUSC College of Dental Medicine. He majored in Biology and obtained his Bachelor of
    Science degree from Wofford College in 2009.

    After college, he enrolled at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine in Charleston and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2013.

    Following graduation, he started his training with Hospital Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV in 2014.

    After his GPR, he completed a surgery internship year at the University of Mississippi Medical Center followed by his four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. During his last year of residency he acted as chief resident and was awarded the Dr. Sigurds Krolls Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Excellence Award.  His interests include dentoalveolar surgery, trauma, and pathology.

    Outside of the dentistry, Dr. Nimmich enjoys hunting, fishing, and boating.  An avid football fan, he follows the Wofford Terriers, Ole Miss Rebels and last but certainly not least the South Carolina Gamecocks.
